Eklái tamasá násho
Maneri gahane háso
Se hásite dhará paŕechile

Rúpakár tumi e dharár
Spandane ácho sabár
Svanane ácho alakár
Máliká madhute mákháchile

ভালো বেসেছিলে
আঁধার ঘরে আলো জ্বেলেছিলে
হারানো সুরে সুরে
মন প্রাণ ভরে' দিয়েছিলে

ভালো শুধু তুমি বাস
একলাই তমসা নাশ
মনেরই গহনে হাস
সে হাসিতে ধরা পড়েছিলে

রূপকার তুমি এ ধরার
স্পন্দনে আছ সবার
স্বননে আছ অলকার
মালিকা মধুতে মাখাছিলে

O lord, you loved me
and kindled light in my dark home.
