O lord,
I have thought, I go on thinking
day and night,
Day and night about Thee.
I think,
I have admitted, and I know You recognize,
and go on thinking about you.
That vanquished is my pensive heart and mind.

I believe and know
As I don't walk a path that's true,
that you also accept
So curvature I run counter to.
that you have won my mind and life completely.
The arcs had bound me with blind ties;
Now warily I set them aside.

As i did not move on a straight path,
From close range, I don't find nearby;
I go on crossing curvatures.
I look outside, but I don't gaze in mind.

So now You came with pomp of king;
Those curvatures that bind me
All gloomy darkness, far-off making.
with the rope of attachment,
I carefully avoid.

Even remaining close to you,
I do not find you nearby.

I look outside
and do not look inside my mind.

Hence,
come in royal function,
and remove all darkness.

Bhevechi bheve cali ami is the 1592nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bhevechi bheve cali ámi
Tava kathá divá sharvarii
Menechi máno jáni tumi
Hára mor mana práń bhari

Sojá pathe cali niko tái
Vakratá utkrami jái
Je vakratá more beṋdhechilo mohad́ore
Táháre satarke páshari

Káche theke káche náhi pái
Cái je báhire mane ná tákái
Rája samárohe ele tái
Sakal áṋdhár dúr kari

I have thought, I go on thinking
Day and night about Thee.
I have admitted, and I know You recognize,
That vanquished is my pensive heart and mind.

As I don't walk a path that's true,
So curvature I run counter to.
The arcs had bound me with blind ties;
Now warily I set them aside.

From close range, I don't find nearby;
I look outside, but I don't gaze in mind.
So now You came with pomp of king;
All gloomy darkness, far-off making.
