O lord, i was thinking that you would come,
I had imagined that You will appear–
having given the word, you would honor that,
Promise having given, promise You will keep...
and that like the dew drops on the sand,
Fallen on a desert, alike unto dew,
i would not dry up in a moment.
You won't evaporate instantly.
All misdeeds by microcosm, in case macrocosm,

they are called divine play, liila’.
All the defects of an atom, they reside in being–
by giving word and not honoring them,
Owing to that, a [[:wikipedia:Lila (Hinduism)|liila]] at time of Supreme.
who would support, tell me.
Promise having given, then word not to keep:
i am small, this is my only crime,
Who will support it, do say please?
but in insignificant ones also

longings are present.
Frail am I, my defect is only this;
knowingly, why you did not reduce the inadvertence,
But to the frail also can abide a wish.
by what skill can i show the face?
Purposely, distress why did You inflict:
Today with logic, face will You reveal?

Bhevechilum tumi asibe is the 2989th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bhevechilum tumi ásibe
Kathá diye kathá rákhibe
Marute jhare paŕá shishir sama
Pale shukáye ná jábe

Jata aparádh ańur haye tháke
Bhúmár beláy liilá bale táke
Kathá diye kathá ná rákháke
Balo ke samarthan karibe

Kśudra ámi ihái aparádh
Kśudrero thákite páre sádh
Jeneshune kena ghat́ále pramád
Ki juktite áj mukh dekhábe

I had imagined that You will appear–
Promise having given, promise You will keep...
Fallen on a desert, alike unto dew,
You won't evaporate instantly.

All the defects of an atom, they reside in being–
Owing to that, a liila at time of Supreme.
Promise having given, then word not to keep:
Who will support it, do say please?

Frail am I, my defect is only this;
But to the frail also can abide a wish.
Purposely, distress why did You inflict:
Today with logic, face will You reveal?
