I send forth my call to all who would hear.
I send out a clarion call.
I seek those who wish to proceed
Along the path of humanity.

Humanity has suffered the anguish
Those who want to move along the path of light—
Of affliction and disease,
I want to get acquainted with them.
In pain and unbearable agony,

Felt the harsh curse of hardship and want.
Humanity has endured many ailments, sorrows, and afflictions.
I search for those who want to wipe away
Humanity has endured much mourning and bereavement.
Those tears of sorrow.
Those who want to wipe away humanity's tears—
I want to know them.

Humanity has endured the pangs of starvation,
Humanity has endured the pangs of starvation,
Borne humiliation and cruel indifference.
Tolerated insults and neglect.
I welcome those who want to apply the healing balm
Those who want to salve humanity's wounds—
On those torturous wounds.
I want to acknowledge them.
