Dhara dite cao na jakhan is the 557th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Dhará dite cáo ná jakhan
Tabe kena liilá karo
Je tomáre bhálobáse
Tár áṋkhi jalete bharo

Aruńodaye je bá kare
Púrvákáshe tomár stuti
Sáṋjhe kare tomár tare
Raktaráge sandhyárati
Táre kena carańe t́hele
Dúrer theke dúre saro

Páoyár ásháy beṋce áchi
Áṋdhár sáthe jujhe calechi
Mor e áshá nahe duráshá
Ket́e jábe e áṋdháro

O lord,
why play your divine game
if you not even intend to come into my fold?
You fill tears into the eyes
of the one who loves you.

Why do you push with your feet
and move far away from
one who worships you
in the sunrise of the eastern sky,
and performs rituals
in the evening's crimson colour?

I survive with the hope of achieving you only.
I continue fighting darkness.
This longing of mine is not unachievable,
my darkness will one day be over too.
