O lord,
You came, making trouble, after very many days,
You came after such a long time,
For whose sake, do say, for whose sake?
with much trouble.
With You, You brought life's warm ardor...
Tell me for what purpose you came.
Lovingly, oh Beloved, suffused with love.

You brought the warmth of life with you,
and filled all with love, o dear.

You brought life to those slumbering in deep sleep,
and who, for such a long time,
had been barely surviving,
nearly dying from distressful inertia.

With the touch of your stick,
Those who'd been in winter's long hibernation,
You gently broke their slumber.
Who'd been living as if dead in extreme inertia,
Them You tapped with the wand of resurrection...
Doing good, You shattered their slumber.

On those unconscious ones,
On slighted ones who had been unconscious,
bereft of vivacity,
Who had not realized the human right to live,
on those who did not know the right to live,
You applied compassion, and eyes You opened...
You smeared affection
Irreversibly, oh Beloved, always and forever.
and forever opened their eyes.

Ele klesh kare eta din pare is the 1480th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ele klesh kare eta din pare
Kár tare balo kár tare
Jiivaner uttáp sauṋge ánile
Priiti bhare priya priiti bhare

Járá etadin himaghume chilo
Dáruń jaŕatáy beṋce mare chilo
Jiyankát́hir parash bulále
Ghum bheuṋge dile bhála kare

Hatamáne járá chilo acetan
Báṋcár adhikár jáne ni je jan
Mamatá mákhále áṋkhi khule dile
Cira tare priya cira tare

You came, making trouble, after very many days,
For whose sake, do say, for whose sake?
With You, You brought life's warm ardor...
Lovingly, oh Beloved, suffused with love.

Those who'd been in winter's long hibernation,
Who'd been living as if dead in extreme inertia,
Them You tapped with the wand of resurrection...
Doing good, You shattered their slumber.

On slighted ones who had been unconscious,
Who had not realized the human right to live,
You applied compassion, and eyes You opened...
Irreversibly, oh Beloved, always and forever.
