Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ele mohana tále
Sure laye e kii máyájál racile
Gele marama niye gele
Sheś kathá náhi bale gele

Dúrera niiháriká candana mákhá
Maner mayúr sethá meleche je pákhá
Váńiivitáne kuiṋje kuinje
Maner deule e kii sudhá jharále

Eso go unmada váy
Maner madhupa jena tomá páne dháy
Háránor smrtikháni tomá páye doba dáni
Hiyár vedaná áni kúl bháuṋgá akúle

O Lord,
You came with enchanting rhythm,
melody and tunes!
What sort of illusory web did you create?

You left, taking with you the core of my being
and not pronouncing the last word.

The distant nebula is painted with sandal paste.
It is there
that my mental peacock spreads its wings.

What sort of nectar did you pour,
into the garden of words, into each and every bush
and into mental temples?

Come into the frenzied wind
that my mental bee may rush unto you.

The lost memories of my past,
I shall offer you.

O eternal bestower,
You float all pains of my heart into the unlimited.
