E shudhu nay ámár kathá
Bhakta janer marmagáthá
Mánav maner itikathá
Pávár áshár giiti geye

এসো কাছে আরো কাছে
মুক্তা-ঝরা হাসি নিয়ে
মর্ম মাঝে ফুলসাজে
প্রীতিসুধা ঢেলে' দিয়ে

সকলে তোমারেই চায়
তোমার রঙে মনকে রাঙায়
স্নিগ্ধ তব ভালবাসায়
ছন্দে গীতে দিতে ভরিয়ে

এ শুধু নয় আমার কথা
ভক্ত জনের মর্মগাথা
মানব মনের ইতিকথা
পাবার আশার গীতি গেয়ে

O lord, come close, closer,
with pearl flowing smile.
come into the core of heart
with floral adornment,
pouring nectar of love.
all want you,
colouring the mind with your colour,
filling it with your love, rhythm and song.
this is not only my affair
rather story of all devotees.
it is the history of all human minds
who sing the song
with aspiration of attainment.
