I was sitting alone with my head held low,
In darkness dense, my head bent,
in intense darkness.
I had sat, feeling lonely.
From a golden heaven, wings having spread,
An angel says: "Morn and eve, I accompany.

From the golden divine arena,
"You are not alone, no, never had you been;
spreading its wings,
I'm your lasting companion, don't you know Me?
the divine angel told me:
Heaven's angel, inside mind I reside;
Melancholy, don't be worried.

"i am with you not just two times, but always.
"Though You forgot Me, yourself I will not forget;
You were never alone,
You did not recollect, yet to the side I won't set.
do not you know me as your eternal companion?"
I stay mingled with the mind, painstakingly I provide;

Even by mistake, I do not neglect."
The divine angel further told me:

"do not become frenzied by agony,
You might forget me,
but i will never forget you,
even should you forget me,
I will never ignore you.

I have kept you merged in my mind
and retained you carefully.
I shall never neglect you even if by mistake."

Ghor timire matha nata kare is the 1946th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ghor timire máthá nata kare
Basechilum ekelá
Sońálii alaká theke mele pákhá
Parii bale sáthe áchi dubelá

Tumi eká nao kakhano chile ná
Ámi cira sáthii ámáke jáno ná
Alakár parii mane vás kari
Viśáde hayo ná utalá

Ámáke bhulile ámi bhulibo ná
Ná smarile tabu pásharibo ná
Mane mishe tháki sajatane rákhi
Bhuleo kari ná avahelá

In darkness dense, my head bent,
I had sat, feeling lonely.
From a golden heaven, wings having spread,
An angel says: "Morn and eve, I accompany.

"You are not alone, no, never had you been;
I'm your lasting companion, don't you know Me?
Heaven's angel, inside mind I reside;
Melancholy, don't be worried.

"Though You forgot Me, yourself I will not forget;
You did not recollect, yet to the side I won't set.
I stay mingled with the mind, painstakingly I provide;
Even by mistake, I do not neglect."
