O lord, yesterday i dreamt that you had come to my home
Yesterday a dream have I viewed;
and by spread of effulgence, you made me enchanted.
In it You'd appeared,
You came close in dream, but went away far on awakening.
You'd appeared at my dwelling.
Why is this rope of worldly attachment during awakening?
With a luminous splendor You,
I am pained forgetting you and blissful on getting you.
You did bedazzle me.
O the stealer of my heart, why do you continue this game.

While in dream, close-by You came;
Awake, remote You went away...
Why are there in this conscious state
These worldly ties of blind affinity?

All pain on forgetting Thee
And the great joy upon Your receipt...
What's the reason for this cosmic game
You go on making, oh the Heart-Thief?
