O lord,
Along a path of thorns, trouble having borne,
through a thorny path,
On this very day I come to You, my Lord.
bearing all pains,
Gaze at me with kindly eyes, neglect merit and demerit;
I have today come for you.
Appear inside my mind, dressed in charming raiment.

Look at me with merciful eyes,
By Your grace all bashfulness has vanished;
forgetting my defects and qualities.
All my thoughts are dedicated to Your ideation.
Come into my mind
You and I exist– the universe I've forgotten;
with charming adornments.
With Your name, to its beat and cadence I do caper.

By your grace
Come to me time and again, an incessant flame of love
all my worldly shyness vanished,
Having lit inside my psyche; I beg compassion.
and all my thoughts surrendered
to your ideation.

Now only you and me are left.
I have forgotten the world.
I dance to your name and rhythm
and to your meters.

That you may come to me again and again,
kindling the lamp of love in my mind -
this mercy of yours, i request.
