Kata tapasya pare is the 2836th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kata tapasyá pare
Tumi esecho dhará diyecho
Kata jug áshá diye kata ashru jhariye
Eta dine kathá rekhecho

Bhávite párini ámi tumi nikat́e ásibe
Tomár áloke more udbhásita karibe
Já bhávini tái halo alaká mádhurii elo
He mohan káche esecho

Anurodh uparodh kichui tumi shononi
Shata ceśt́áy tomáke galáte párini
Ele tumi nije theke priitir parág mekhe
Bujhechi karuńá karecho

O Lord, after how much penance,
You came and got into folds.
You gave me hope for many eras
and made me shed tears.
After such a long time,
You have kept the words.
I had not imagined that You
would come close and illuminate me
with Your effulgence.
What I did not think has happened,
bringing heavenly sweetness,
O the Charming One, You came close.
You never listen to any solicitation
and earnest request; hundreds of efforts
are unable to melt You.
You came Yourself,
smearing fragrance of love.
I understood that You have shown mercy.
