Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ke go tumi ele ámári mane
Lukiye chile kon gahane

Ákásh vátás áveshe bhará
Cáṋdera hási svapana áne

Ájike madhumáse malaya vátáse
Utalá hiyá shudhu tomáre máne

Madhura kújane manera vijane
Misháo práńete ámára práńe

(Áj) Saráye sab bádha bhuliyá hásá káṋdá
(Tomár) Práńera sure sádhá túśibo gáne

O Lord, who are you who came into my mind?
In which depths were you hiding?

The sky and air are full of impulse.
The smile of the moon brings about dreams.

Today, on this spring, in the sandal breeze,
my frenzied heart aspire for you only.

In sweet chirpings in the seclusion of mind,
my life merges into yours.

Today, removing all obstructions,
forgetting smiles and cries,
I shall satisfy you
with tunes from my heart,
song after song.
