Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Madhur parashe haraśe
Tumi ele priyatama ghare
Paritośe saháse
Phulerá varań kare tomáre

Madhute madhute priiti upacáy
Giitite giitite sudhá varaśáy
Chande chande nava dyotanáy
Arghya sájái upácáre

Nrtyer madhurimá hiyáy
Pallave puśpe jhalakáy
Smrtir mohan alakáy
Dyuti bháse vidári timire

O my dearest,
You came to my home with a sweet and pleasant touch.
The flowers adore you with smiles and satisfaction.

In the overflowing sweetness of love,
in the nectarial rain of songs,
in the new effulgence of rhythms,
I have decorated the presentation to be offered to you.
The sweetness of my dancing heart,
shines through flowers and new leaves.
Remembering your heavenly charm,
light appears, piercing through the darkness.
