Which unknown traveler has come,
Creating oscillation in the mind,
raising vibrations in my mind?
Which traveler unknown did arrive?
He brought the distant one close
He took the far and made it near;
and removed the bondage of obstructions.
He cast aside obstruction's binding.

He brought whatever only existed in the psychic realm,
What had been in utopia
into the world of forms.
Came down into the world of form.
With sound and touch, smell and taste,
Sensation's flood he did wake.

With sound, touch, smell and flow,
For so long, age after age,
the flood of experiences arose.
I'd been waiting for whose sake?

The fixed date disregarding, that same guest,
The mystic traveler
He responded to my invitation.
for whom i had been waiting for ages,
responded to my call.

He came to my abode without considering
whether it was an auspicious moment or not
for him to come.

Maner majhe dola diye is the 1100th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Maner májhe dolá diye
Ajáná ke pathik ela
Dúrke nikat́ kare nila
Bádhár báṋdhan sariye dila

Jáhá chila kalpaloke
Neve ela rúpáloke
Shabde sparshe gandhe rase
Anubhútir ván jágála

Kata kále kálántare
Basechilum jáhár tare
Sei atithi ná mene tithi
Ámár d́áke sáŕá dila

Creating oscillation in the mind,
Which traveler unknown did arrive?
He took the far and made it near;
He cast aside obstruction's binding.

What had been in utopia
Came down into the world of form.
With sound and touch, smell and taste,
Sensation's flood he did wake.

For so long, age after age,
I'd been waiting for whose sake?
The fixed date disregarding, that same guest,
He responded to my invitation.
