Svágata jánáte tomáy
Sab sáj vyartha haye
Ele avaheláy
Esecho bhálabese
Ele man ráuṋále

Ráj samárohe tomáy
Svágata jánábo ámi
Karpúrálote dhúpe puśpe
Sájábo nami
Bhesecho hrday mukure
Man práń bharechile

না বলে’ না কয়ে
এভাবে কেন এলে
পারি নি সাজাতে গৃহ
আরতি প্রদীপ জ্বেলে’

কত সাধ ছিল যে মনে
স্বাগত জানাতে তোমায়
সব সাজ ব্যর্থ হয়ে
এলে অবহেলায়
এসেছ ভালবেসে’
এলে মন রাঙালে

রাজ সমারোহে তোমায়
স্বাগত জানাব আমি
কর্পূরালোতে ধূপে পুষ্পে
সাজাব নমি’
ভেসেছ হৃদয় মুকুরে
মন-প্রাণ ভরেছিলে

Uninvited, unannounced,
Why came You this way?
I decorated not my house,
Kindling reception's flame.

In mind there was much yearning
To proclaim welcome to Thee;
All apparatus being empty,
You came disregarding.
You have come lovingly;
You came and brightened psyche.

To Thee in royal splendor
I shall declare my welcome;
With camphor lamps, resin, and flowers,
I will decorate with deference.
You've floated upon psychic mirror;
Heart and mind You had filled.
