With the cadence of dance and rhythm of song,
With the rhythm of song and cadence of dance,
The world today was expansive.
The world has become all-embracing.
With lost melodies of days bygone,
With lost melodies of yesteryear,
Everyone became ecstatic.
Everyone was ebullient.

Adorning your eyes with collerium,
With painted eyes, bring your threaded garland;
draping garlands around your neck,
And fill your basket with fragrant flowers.
fill your flower baskets with fragrant flowers.
Suffusing everyone with heart's bright colors,
Imbue them with magnolia scent.

Colour everyone with the hues of your heart
Today, with the splendor of effulgence,
and perfume your surroundings
Collective mind was taken as our mate.
with the fragrance of marigolds.
Having found Heart's Thief nearby today,

Mind's pollen was entranced.
Hearts overjoyed in the festival of lights,
embrace one and all.
Attaining the supreme entity,
the pollen of mind is ecstatic with joy.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Nácera tále chande gáne
Ucchal halo áji dhará
Háráno diner háráno sure
Sabái halo mátoyárá

Aiṋjana eṋke cokhe geṋthe náo málá
Puśpera saorabhe bhare náo d́álá
Paráńer ráuṋá rauṋe sabáre ráuṋiye diye
Cáṋpár gandhe karo bhará

Áloker samárohe áj
Citta sabár halo svayambará
Citta core káche peye áj
Maner parág halo ápanhárá

With the rhythm of song and cadence of dance,
The world has become all-embracing.
With lost melodies of yesteryear,
Everyone was ebullient.

With painted eyes, bring your threaded garland;
And fill your basket with fragrant flowers.
Suffusing everyone with heart's bright colors,
Imbue them with magnolia scent.

Today, with the splendor of effulgence,
Collective mind was taken as our mate.
Having found Heart's Thief nearby today,
Mind's pollen was entranced.
