Sabáre ánanda dite

Phule phale pátáy rase
Surabhite man mátáte

Járá cale geche dúre
Dúr hate áro dúre
Tárá ájo bence áche
Sureri sudhá jhaiṋkáre
(Áji) Táder áshiś surer shrote
Prerańá dik calár pathe

Chay rtur parikramá
Meru himer ot́hánámá
Ei pariveshe ese
Práń d́hele dii sabár hite

নব বর্ষ এলো আজি
সবারে আনন্দ দিতে

ফুলে ফলে পাতায় রসে
সুরভিতে মন মাতাতে

যারা চলে গেছে দূরে
দূর হতে আরও দূরে
তারা আজও বেঁচে আছে
সুরেরই সুধাঝঙ্কারে
(আজি) তাদের আশিস সুরের স্রোতে
প্রেরণা দিক চলার পথে

চয় ঋতুর পরিক্রমা
মেরু হিমের ওঠা-নামা
এই পরিবেশে এসে
প্রাণ ঢেলে দিই সবার হিতে

A new year came today,
Giving bliss to all...

Elating the mind with fruits and flowers,
With leaves, juices, and fragrance.

Those who have gone far away,
Further and further,
They still live
In the nectar of melody.
Let their blessing inspire everyone this day
To go forward on the path.

The rotation of the six seasons,[nb 1]
The rise and fall of the polar snow—
In this atmosphere,
Let us dedicate our lives to the welfare of all.
