The radiance of new light
Just novelty's effulgence,
came into all directions.
Everywhere it arrived, it arrived;
why are hiding at this time?
Presently, why are You in hiding?
the sky and air look at you.
Sky and wind, in Your direction having spied,
the mind is unable to understand
After fathoming Your sport divine, are not pleased.
your divine game.

By your light all the flowers bloom,
All flowers have blossomed beneath Your light;
sky gets coloured
By Your light, crimson-flushed has been the sky.
and its beauty marks the forehead
Phonta on brow Your reflected light inscribed;
making all dreams colourful.
It colorized every dream.
o dear, come to the front

with charming adornment,
In charming attire, come before me, oh Beloved mine;
so that into the mind,
The psyche, it resounds upon strings of Your lyre.
the strings of your viin'a' play.
To Your rhythm and beat dance all the time
dancing always at your tune and rhythm,
Everybody's life and death around Thee.
around you is life and death of everyone.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Nútaneri álo
Elo dike dike elo dike dike
Lukiye kena tumi ácho ekhan
Ákásh vátás ceye tomár dike
Liilá tomár bujhe ut́he ná man

Tomár áloy jata phul phut́eche
Tomár áloy ákásh ráuṋá hayeche
Tomár álor chat́á kapále áṋklo phoṋt́á
Rauṋin kare dilo jata svapan

Sámne eso priya mohan sáje
Tomár viińár táre man je báje
Tomár chande tále sadá náce
Tomáy ghire sabár jiivan marań

Just novelty's effulgence,
Everywhere it arrived, it arrived;
Presently, why are You in hiding?
Sky and wind, in Your direction having spied,
After fathoming Your sport divine, are not pleased.

All flowers have blossomed beneath Your light;
By Your light, crimson-flushed has been the sky.
Phonta on brow Your reflected light inscribed;
It colorized every dream.

In charming attire, come before me, oh Beloved mine;
The psyche, it resounds upon strings of Your lyre.
To Your rhythm and beat dance all the time
Everybody's life and death around Thee.
