Kii sure beṋdhecho ráge rúpe
Manera kirańe varańe varańe
Chaŕáyecho ratnadiipe

Ámár balite kichui chilo ná
Bhálabásá nite kehai elo ná
Gopane gopane kahile káne káne
Ámi rahiyáchi smita niipe

Jár keha nái tumi ácho tár
Ná thákári májhe tumi sárátsár
Calecho bhese bhese mohana hási hese
Nijere viláye gandhadhúpe

ফুলের মধুকে অভ্র বিধুকে
কী সুরে বেঁধেছ রাগে রূপে
মনের কিরণে বরণে বরণে
ছড়ায়েছ রত্নদীপে

আমার বলিতে কিছুই ছিল না
ভালবাসা নিতে কেহই এল না
গোপনে গোপনে কহিলে কাণে কাণে
আমি রহিয়াছি স্মিত নীপে

যার কেহ নাই তুমি আছ তার
না-থাকারই মাঝে তুমি সারাৎসার
চলেছ ভেসে’ ভেসে’ মোহন হাসি হেসে’
নিজেরে বিলায়ে গন্ধধূপে

O lord,
by what tune
did you attune,
with beauty and colour,
the honey in the flower
and the moon in the sky?

With mental rays,
You spread colours after colours
onto my jewel lamp.

There is nothing
I can call my own.
None ever came to take my love.

You secretly whispered into my ears:
"i stay in the smiling niipa flower."

You are there
for those having none.
Amidst the transitory objects,
You are the essence of all essences.

You float on,
with a charming smile,
dissolving yourself
in the fragrance of incense.
