Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Práńe eso mane eso
Eso prabhu tumi mor sárá sattáte
Práńe eso
Marmer argal rekhechi khule
Akleshe abádhe tomáre varite

Candana suváse madira vátáse
Kusuma nirjáse kaomudii ákáshe
Eso tumi náce gáne chande o sure táne
Udvel hiyámájhe bháve ekánte

Ásite ná páro kona kśati nái
Ámi shudhu tomáre káche pete cái
Ácho nabhoniile ácho ásháte mile
Ámár ákáshe jeno dui cáṋd nái
T́áno more tabe tava práńotsave
E vindu cáy je tomáte mishite

O lord, come into my life and mind,
come into my whole existence.
i have kept the doorbolts of my mind
open for welcoming you unobstructed,
easily. into the fragrance of sandal,
intoxicating breeze, essence of flowers,
moonlit sky. you come into dances, songs,
rhythms and tunes of melody.
come in isolation
into restless mind as ideation.
i have no worry if you cannot come, o lord,
it is only that i want to get you close.
you are present in the expanse of the blue sky.
you are merged in my hope.
know that in my sky there is no second moon.
