Ragatmika bhakti (Roman Sanskrit: Rágátmiká Bhakti) is a type of Bhakti in which a devotee feels pleasure in loving the Lord.[1]

Description

Ragatmika bhakti is the type of Bhakti, a devotee loves and worships the Lord as (s)he feels immense pleasure in doing so. According to Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, such a devotee's mentality is something like—[1]

I love Him because I feel pleasure by loving Him; I love him because I cannot remain without loving Him.

Ragatmika bhakti and Raganuraga bhakti

The stage prior to Ragatmika bhakti is Raganuraga bhakti. According to Anandamurti-ji, the basic difference between in these two stages is that in Raganuraga bhakti, a devotee wants to get pleasure, but on the other hand in Raganuraga bhakti, the devotee wants to give pleasure to the Lord.[1]
