Renaissance Artists and Writers Association

Renaissance Artists and Writers Association or RAWA is an international organization of artists and writers, founded by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar in 1958. Sarkar founded this organization with the mission to utilize and promote of art, as a method of self-realization and as a service to humanity. The slogan of RAWA is "Art for Service and Blessedness".

Foundation

Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar founded {{subst:PAGENAME)) in 1958 in order to restore art to its true role as an instrument for social and spiritual awakening. He envisioned an artistic renaissance where artists and writers would unite and inspire society to move forward in a progressive direction.
