Jingle jangle ankle bells
Runujhunu ring the bells on Your ankles.
amidst colourful floral sprays
Counting the days and seasons, in Spring,
in the blissful Spring
With the flowers You came, with the flowers.
You came
counting Your moments and days.

I welcome You in total adoration

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Runujhunu runujhunu núpura báje
Din guńe kál guńe phálgune
Phuleri májhe ele phuleri májhe

Varań karite cái práń bhare tomáre
Smarańe manane pratit́i prahare
Ásiyácho jadi tháko niravadhi
Hiyá upaciyá mohana sáje

Nrtyera tále tále ánande uttále
Kon máyá bale tumi sabáike mátále
Sabár garva tumi sabár marma tumi
Tomár dolá peye sakale náce
Áji sakale náce

Runujhunu ring the bells on Your ankles.
Counting the days and seasons, in Spring,
With the flowers You came, with the flowers.

I welcome You in total adoration
with all my vitality
in my recollection, in my contemplation
and in every instant of my ideation.

Your rhythmic dance enchants, Your bliss overwhelms.
With what hypnotic spell You joyintoxicate the world?
You are the pride of all
You are the quintessence of all
With Your vibrant touch all burst into ecstatic dance.
