Runujhunu... the bells on Your ankles ring.
Runujhunu... the bells on Your ankles ring.
Counting days and counting seasons, in Spring
Counting days and counting seasons, in spring
With the flowers You came, with the flowers.
With the flowers You came, with the flowers.

With rhythms of dance and with billowing bliss...
With rhythms of dance and with billowing bliss...
By such phenomena You've transported us all.
By such phenomena You've transported one and all.
You are our common pride and our heart of hearts;
You are our common pride and our heart of hearts;
Getting Your vibration, everyone dances—
Getting Your vibration, everyone dances—
Today, we all dance.
Today, everyone dance.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Runujhunu runujhunu núpura báje
Din guńe kál guńe phálgune
Phuleri májhe ele phuleri májhe

Varań karite cái práń bhare tomáre
Smarańe manane pratit́i prahare
Ásiyácho jadi tháko niravadhi
Hiyá upaciyá mohana sáje

Nrtyera tále tále ánande uttále
Kon máyá bale tumi sabáike mátále
Sabár garva tumi sabár marma tumi
Tomár dolá peye sakale náce
Áji sakale náce

Runujhunu... the bells on Your ankles ring.
Counting days and counting seasons, in spring
With the flowers You came, with the flowers.

Wholeheartedly, we want to welcome You,
Every hour, in retrospection and rumination.
As You have come, please stay forever,
Adding hearts to Your charming ornaments.

With rhythms of dance and with billowing bliss...
By such phenomena You've transported one and all.
You are our common pride and our heart of hearts;
Getting Your vibration, everyone dances—
Today, everyone dance.
