Rúper ságare bhásiyá calechi
Arúp tomár parasha áshe
Mana madhukare se priitira ghore
Mátiyá ut́heche e madhu máse

Rúper je rekhá áṋkiyá calecho
Táte práń tava bhariyá ditecho
Rúpe prań áche práńe rúp áche
E sár satya bhuvane bháse

Álo cháyá niye rúper jagat
Tátei kśudra tátei brhat
Táhatei báṋdhá áche sadasat
Mahákásh bháse se cidákáshe

রূপের সাগরে ভাসিয়া চলেছি
অরূপ তোমার পরশ-আশে
মন-মধুকরে সে প্রীতির ঘোরে
মাতিয়া উঠেছে এ মধু মাসে

রূপের যে রেখা আঁকিয়া চলেছ
তাতে প্রাণ তব ভরিয়া দিতেছ
রূপে প্রাণ আছে প্রাণে রূপ আছে
এ সার সত্য ভুবনে ভাসে

আলো-ছায়া নিয়ে রূপের জগৎ
তাতেই ক্ষুদ্র তাতেই বৃহৎ
তাহাতেই বাঁধা আছে সদসৎ
মহাকাশ ভাসে সে চিদাকাশে

O formless one,
in the hope of attaining your touch,
I keep on floating in the ocean of forms.

My mental bee is intoxicated
with intense love this spring.

Into the line of beauty that you sketched,
You filled life.
There is life in beauty,
and there is beauty in life, in this world,
this absolute truth is apparent.

This world of forms consists of light and shade.
Within it, big and small exist.
And within it, good and bad are bound.

The great space reflects itself
in the firmament of mind.
