T́enis khelár mát́her májhe
Jál phele se mách dharita
Bhardupure bhúter bhaye

Báic khelár naoko caŕe

হাসতে সে যে জানতো না তো

মাঝ রাতেরই মিষ্টি রোদে
পিঠ রেখে সে পিঠে খেতো
জিভের জোরে আখ চিবোত
দাঁতে করে রস চূষিত

টেনিস খেলার মাঠের মাঝে
জাল ফেলে সে মাছ ধরিত
ভরদুপুরে ভূতের ভয়ে
জলের নীচে লুকিয়ে যেতো

বাইচ খেলার নৌকো চড়ে
দূর আকাশে হাওয়া খেতো
কাজের সময় চোখটি বুজে
মটকা মেরে নাক ডাকাতো
