Sabar asha bhalabasa is the 1393rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1] This song may be the first in a series of six or more songs that make up a musical drama. In this case, the start and finish are a bit nebulous.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sabár áshá bhálabásá
Púrńa karei jábo
Áchi ámi káchákáchi
Priitir sudhá mákhábo

Phuler sauṋge madhu jeman
Eki je práń eki je man
Temni kare sabár sauṋge
Cirakál thákibo

Vidhur ceyeo jyotsnáráshi
Anek beshii bhálabási
Temni karei vidhur hási
Sabár mukhe jharábo

I shall go on fulfilling the hopes and loves of all.
I remain quite close
and smear the nectar of love on everyone.

The way honey remains stored in flowers,
wholeheartedly,
with a singular dedication,
I shall likewise forever remain.

As the moon spreads its light with extreme love,
I shall likewise radiate my moonlit smile on all faces.
