O Lord,
You are the base of all my thinking;
You are the base of all ideas.
With Your names, oh I get tipsy.
In your name, i become intoxicated.
Ever I would obtain Thee,
Privately upon my eyelids.

I constantly strive at finding you
The world is full of Your forms;
intimately in my eyes.
The mind rejoices in Your colors.
Your beauty fills the entire world.
To receive the mantras You utter,
In your loving melody,
Music came into the world.
minds turn blissful.

All musical rhythms and tunes
The heavens filled with Your effulgence
appeared on this world,
The first day that it came to earth.
only to obtain mantras from your mouth.
All of the darkness was abolished,

Barred jail gates to unfasten.
On the first day,
when the sky became filled by your light,
darkness vanished
and closed prison doors opened up.

Sakal bhaver adhar tumi is the 787th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sakal bháver ádhár tumi
Tomár náme jái go mete
Satata cái tomáy pete (ámi)
Nibhrte mor áṋkhipáte

Tomár rúpe bhará bhuvan
Tomár ráge nandita man
Tomár mukher mantra pete
Rág ráginii elo dharáte

Ákásh bhará tomár álo
Pratham jedin dharáy elo
Sariye diye sakal kálo
Baddha kárár dvár khulite

You are the base of all my thinking;
With Your names, oh I get tipsy.
Ever I would obtain Thee,
Privately upon my eyelids.

The world is full of Your forms;
The mind rejoices in Your colors.
To receive the mantras You utter,
Music came into the world.

The heavens filled with Your effulgence
The first day that it came to earth.
All of the darkness was abolished,
Barred jail gates to unfasten.
