Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Ei) Shárada práte jhará shephálite
Man práń ek haye tava guń gáy
Bháśár atiita tiire bháv bhese jáy
Sab kichu vyartha kará náhi jáy

Janam janam dhare geye gechi gán
Chilo táte bhálabásá áshá abhimán
Chilo buk phát́á krandan hatamán
Kii je chilo kii ná chilo bheve ot́há dáy

Ábár se sharat eseche práńe
Tomáre basáte cáy manavitáne
Chande tále ár sure táne
Tomáre tuśite cáy madhu dyotanáy

O lord, on this autumn evening,
with dropped shefa’lii flower,
the mind overwhelmingly sings
your attributes. the thoughts and feelings
beyond language go on floating
it is difficult to reject all.
life after life, i have been singing songs
in which love and ego of hope are present.
i was dishonored, with heart breaking cries.
what was there and what was not,
thinking that makes me afflicted.
the same autumn has come into life,
and wants to make you sit in the arbor of mind.
it wants to please you through rhythm, beats,
melody and tunes with sweet expression.
