O lord, in this winter moonlit night,  
On an autumn night, bright and clear,
i want you in isolation.  
In solitude I've wanted Thee.
with just a wee bit of your divine grace
This wish, my Dear, can be fulfilled,
my desire can be fulfilled.  
By a tiny smidgen of Your kindness.
neither i have the energy nor the strength,  
I've not force, not the strength,
nor claim or merit to deserve,  
Hence, candidly, I go on begging grace;
that is why i go on asking plainly your grace.  
There is no claim that's worthy.
o ocean of mercy, you have fixed the path,  
 
you gave bondage and liberation from that.  
When the way was obstructed, oh Store of Compassion,
under your shelter with the power of your mantra  
Both You gave, the constraint and salvation.

শারদ শুক্লা নিশীথে
তোমারে চেয়েছি নিভৃতে

তোমার কৃপার কণাতে
শক্তি নাই সামর্থ্যও নাই
অকপটে কৃপা যেচে’ চলি তাই

পথ বেঁধে’ দিলে করুণানিধান
দিলে বন্ধন করে’ দিলে ত্রাণ
তোমার ছায়ায় মন্ত্রমায়ায়
চলে’ যাব তব বীথিতে

মানুষের হাতে কতটুকু আছে
তব করুণায় বিশ্ব চলেছে
ও করুণাকণা যে বা পেয়েছে সে
সব পেয়ে গেছে ধরাতে
