মালাগুলি মোর গেঁথেছি
মালাগুলি মোর গাঁথা নয় শুধু
ঝরা শেফালিকা কুড়ায়ে'
(আছে) মমতার গীতি প্রভাতের প্রীতি
প্রতি পাপড়িতে জড়ায়ে'
আমি সারা সকালটি সব কাজ ফেলি
মালাগুলি মোর গেঁথেছি
শুধু মৃদু হেসে' শুধু ভালোবেসে
তোমার লাগিয়া এনেছি

On an autumn morning I have threaded
A garland of night jasmine flowers washed in dewdrops.
With that garland, I will carefully adorn You, oh Lord.
With this desire alone, I have come.
The white clouds were floating in the sky above,
As if covered with honey.
The smiling lilies
Swayed with fragrant bliss.
Sitting in that atmosphere, intoxicated with joy,
I threaded a garland for You.
My garland is not simply woven
With fallen blossoms that I picked up.
A song of compassion and a love for the dawn
Attaches to each petal.
The whole morning, neglecting all my work,
I have threaded flowers.
With a gentle laugh and a heart full of love,
I have come to adorn You.
