Shayane svapane jágarańe
Tumi ácho ámári káche
Tomáre bháviyá man bhare jáy
Páoyár ánanda májhe

Dúr alakár báṋshii báje
Sure laye mor hrdi májhe
Práńer mádhurii d́hele
Sabáre bhariye tule
Man tava karuńá jáce

Jakhan cinini tomáre ámi
Takhano paráńe chile go tumi
(Sei) Háráno diner sure
Nútaner madhu pure
Nava tále man je náce

শয়নে স্বপনে জাগরণে
তুমি আছো আমারই কাছে
তোমারে ভাবিয়া মন ভরে যায়
পাওয়ার আনন্দ মাঝে

দূর অলকার বাঁশী বাজে
সুরে লয়ে মোর হৃদি মাঝে
প্রাণের মাধুরী ঢেলে
সবারে ভরিয়ে তুলে
মন তব করুণা যাচে

যখন চিনিনি তোমারে আমি
তখনও পরাণে ছিলে গো তুমি
(সেই) হারানো দিনের সুরে
নূতনের মধু পুরে
নব তালে মন যে নাচে

O lord,
in my sleep,
in my dreams
& while awake,
You are always with me.

Thinking about you,
my mind gets filled with bliss,
as i realise you close.

The flute of the distant heaven
plays its melody within my heart.
Pouring sweetness into life,
it intoxicates all.

My mind begs for your mercy.
Even when i could not recognise you,
at that time also,
You resided in my heart.

When, in this new environment,
I think about those past days,
my mind starts dancing to new rhythm.
