শুকনো পাতার নূপুর পায়ে
ঝড় এসেছে নৈঋতে
ঈশানেরই বিষাণ নিয়ে
প্রলয়ঙ্কর সঙ্গীতে

তাল-তমালীর তালের সাথে
রজনীগন্ধা যে রাতে
ভেঙ্গে' পড়ে মহাঘাতে
মহাকালের ভ্রূকুটিতে

নিন্দা-স্তুতির ঊর্ধ্বে থেকে'
ঝড় মেতেছে নেশার ঝোঁকে
