Sindhura ranane shukti anvesane is the 1638th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sindhura rańane shukti anveśańe
Paricay hayechilo gán geye
Úrmi náce chanda májhe
Tomáke pávár áshá jáge hrdaye

Cáṋder áloy dhará chilo shubhra
Bálukábelár sáthe smita abhra
Basechinu káchákáchi bujhi niko ámi áchi
Anádi káler srote tomáke ceye

Tomáy bhávite gele ámár ámi tháke ná
Jiivan marań hay akhańd́a sádhaná
Báṋdhá áchi priitid́ore asiimer ráge sure
Ámár duhkha sukh tomáke niye

In the rumbling of the ocean
and in the search of shells,
I became acquainted with you while singing.

The waves danced rhythmically,
and the hope of attaining you
aroused in my heart.

The earth was brightened by the moonlight.
The sky smiled along the sandy beach.

I sat down,
forgetting my existence
and looking for you in the stream of time
immemorial.

Now that i think of you,
my "i" feeling perishes.
Life and death become the continuous effort of attaining you.
I am bound by a thread of love
through infinite rhythms and melodies.
My pleasure and pain revolve around adopting you only.
