Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Smrti buke niye base áchi
Phele ásá sei háráno diner
Aiṋjan eṋke cokhe jege áchi
Pratiikśáy tava ágamaner

Shiiter kankane utture váy
Griiśmer dávadáhe uśńa haoyáy
Sab avastháy tumi je hiyáy
Sab cáoyá páoyáy sarvakáler

Sharat sandhyákáler sońálii meghe
Hemante hime bhejá rátri jege
Shiiter ásár váyu svanane bege
Tomár parash pái shiharańe

I keep sitting with the memory
of those lost days of arrival in my heart.

I remain awakened
with ointment applied on my eyes,
ever waiting for your arrival.

In the shivering cold of the northern wind,
in the intensely burning heat of summer,
that carries hot winds,
in all conditions,
You remain.

You are in my heart,
You are in all desires and attainments,
You are at all times.

In the awakening of the golden clouds
of autumn evenings,
in dew wet nights,
in the wind that carries coolness, in dreams,
I attain your touch in waves of shiver.
