Chut́eche se táhári páne

Maner saritá mor tomárei cáy
Baddha náhi theke bhavjaŕatáy

সুরের সরিতা বয়ে যায়
পথে কোন বাধা না মানে
লক্ষ্য তাহার সে সাগর
যাহারে সে চেয়েছে ধ্যানে

দুই তীরে তারই কথা তারই গীতিকা
তারই তরে মধুরিমা চলমানতা
তারই ভাবনার মাঝে ভুলিয়া ব্যথা
ছুটেছে সে তাহারই পানে

মনের সরিতা মোর তোমারেই চায়
বদ্ধ নাহি থেকে' ভাবজড়তায়
বাধার উপল যেন গুঁড়িয়ে সে যায়
এই প্রার্থনা চরণে

The river of melody goes on flowing
On her path, regarding no obstruction.
Her target is that Ocean,
Whom she has viewed in meditation.

On two banks is His tale, His poetry;
Due to Him, sweetness is a continuity.
Amid His thoughts, pain forgetting,
She has raced in only His direction.

My psychic stream craves only Thee,
Not staying tied to stagnant thinking.
May she go on grinding stones impeding;
At Your feet, this is her supplication.
