The golden lotus bloomed in some blue lake.
A golden lotus, it had blossomed
the ruby gem of hope
Inside which blue mere?
started shining within core of everyone.
Hope's ruby had bestowed a spark
in the morning, the soft breeze
Deep within everybody.
started swinging.

in the noon, the rays of sun,
At daybreak, below [[:wikipedia:Air mass (astronomy)|air mass]], gently swaying;
in the evening, the evening star
At midday, underneath the sun's beams.
how much spoke to you.
But at dusk, the [[:wikipedia:Venus|evening star]],
the human mind engulfed with thought of killings,
Unto Him she was going, telling sundry things.
could not tolerate the smiling beauty.

with a saw, on the soft body of lotus stem,
The mind of a human, sullied by malice,
ever continues to injure that.
Did not inure him to a smile exquisite.
today that lotus is not found on the earth.
With a saw to its body, the stalk of a water lily,
Ever and always he inflicted injury;
Today upon the earth that lily is extinct.

Svarnakamal phutechilo is the 2190th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Svarńakamal phut́echilo
Kon se niil sarovare
Áshár máńik jvele diyechilo
Sabákár antare

Prabháte dulita mrdu váyu bhare
Madhyáhne mihirer kare
Sandhyábeláy sandhyátárá
Kata kii kahiyá jeto táre

Hiḿsálipta mánuśer man
Sahilo ná táre smita sushobhan
Karapatre mrńála gátre
Ághát hánilo ciratare
Áj se kamal nái dhará pare

A golden lotus, it had blossomed
Inside which blue mere?
Hope's ruby had bestowed a spark
Deep within everybody.

At daybreak, below air mass, gently swaying;
At midday, underneath the sun's beams.
But at dusk, the evening star,
Unto Him she was going, telling sundry things.

The mind of a human, sullied by malice,
Did not inure him to a smile exquisite.
With a saw to its body, the stalk of a water lily,
Ever and always he inflicted injury;
Today upon the earth that lily is extinct.
