O lord, listening again and again about you,
Having heard and heard about You,
the mind wants to find you close.
To get near, my heart craves.
how far do You exist, i do not know,
Yet how far away are You?
that feeling comes.
My sense is I am not aware.
different people speak differently;

the scriptures go in different directions.
Many people speak a great deal;
i am floating in tears,
Scriptures go down paths varied.
not understanding what is the proper way.
As for me, I swim in tears;
your grace and my faith,
I don't decipher what's the way.
know that i am helpless.

Your grace is my reliance;
Know that I am without aid.

Tomar katha shune shune is the 2124th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár kathá shune shune
Káche pete mor man je cáy
Kata dúre ácho tumi
Náhi jáni bhavaná hay

Kata loke kata bale
Shástra náná pathe cale
Ámi bhási áṋkhijale
Bujhe ná pái kii upáy

Krpá tomár bharasá ámár
Jeno ámi nirupáy

Having heard and heard about You,
To get near, my heart craves.
Yet how far away are You?
My sense is I am not aware.

Many people speak a great deal;
Scriptures go down paths varied.
As for me, I swim in tears;
I don't decipher what's the way.

Your grace is my reliance;
Know that I am without aid.
