O Lord,
In Your liila, You are the Master;
in this divine play of yours,
Still You've come within our grasp.
You have now come within my reach.
Perhaps You prefer to keep hidden,
In spite of that, You are beheld.

Even should you wish to hide,
With You constantly in abode
You would lose.
On earth and sky and heaven,
In worldly dust and celestial realms,
You're pleased to be both seen and known.

Day and night,
A mild wind blows, the moon's arose,
people find and understand you.
When strewn about are clusters of moonbeams.

Life is pierced by the world of dreams;
They realise that you fill
You've learned how to make Your existence known.
the physical, psychic and spiritual arenas,
that you fill the dust of earth and heaven.

When the sandal breeze blows
and the moon spreads out its illumination,
a dream world enters my heart,
and in it, i become filled with your ideation.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár liiláy tumi prabhu
Dhará paŕecho
Lukote cáo jadi
Tabu here gecho

Aharnishi tomáy loke
Bhúlok dyulok goloke
Dharar dhúloy jyotirloke
Dekhe bojhe bhare ácho

Malay váye ut́hle shashii
Chaŕáy jakhan jyotsnáráshi
Se svapnalok práńe pashi
Bojháy tumi bháv shikhecho

In Your liila, You are the Master;
Still You've come within our grasp.
Perhaps You prefer to keep hidden,
In spite of that, You are beheld.

With You constantly in abode
On earth and sky and heaven,
In worldly dust and celestial realms,
You're pleased to be both seen and known.

A mild wind blows, the moon's arose,
When strewn about are clusters of moonbeams.
Life is pierced by the world of dreams;
You've learned how to make Your existence known.
