Births after births, lives after deaths, I have been moving forward, trampling underfoot thorns. On your path, during rainy and dark nights, I have never felt dullness, I am a sweet bud in your imagination. During moonlit nights, seeking solitude to meet you, I move on with a threaded garland, pouring out my love.

^ In the latest Bangla edition,^[1] this line is written differently from what appears in the Roman-script verions; and the last verse is omitted entirely. It seems that the audio rendition follows an earlier Bangla version or the Roman-script versions. For this line we have retained something from both the latest Bangla edition and the Roman-script versions. That seems more meaningful in context.
