O lord,
With expectation of Your arrival,
expecting your arrival,
In many gardens flowers have blossomed.
flowers bloom in my garden.
Stepping slowly You please come
With cadence and melody, meter and song.

You come through rhythms, melody and lyrics,
To attain You, that's what everybody wants;
step by step.
With Your hue, their color mingles.
The whole world sways to Your liila;
One and all, they race in Your direction.

All want to attain you,
You are Supreme and everyone just atoms,
to get immersed in your colour.
Core pollen spores, stimulated by Your rhythm.

Motionless, their speed becomes rapid,
The whole world swings to your play.
Having thought about You in a mental corner.
All rush unto you.

You are the universal entity
while all are but particles vibrating in your mind.

Even those inert become vibrant and brilliant,
by thinking of you in the core of their mind.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomári ásár áshe
Phul phut́eche vane vane
Eso tumi dhiire dhiire
Chande sure tále gáne

Sabái tomáy je pete cáy
Tomár rauṋe rauṋ je mesháy
Tomár liiláy vishva doláy
Sabái chot́e tomá páne

Tumi bhúmá sabai ańu
Chandáyita marmareńu
Druti capal hay je stháńu
Tomáy bheve maner końe

With expectation of Your arrival,
In many gardens flowers have blossomed.
Stepping slowly You please come
With cadence and melody, meter and song.

To attain You, that's what everybody wants;
With Your hue, their color mingles.
The whole world sways to Your liila;
One and all, they race in Your direction.

You are Supreme and everyone just atoms,
Core pollen spores, stimulated by Your rhythm.
Motionless, their speed becomes rapid,
Having thought about You in a mental corner.
