Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomári bhuvane tomári bhavane
Tomári áshe din ket́e jáy
Tomári carańe tomári smarańe
Áṋdhár nisháy álo jhalasáy

Tomári rauṋe rúpe tomári dhúpe diipe
Tomári krpákańá variśańe
Tomári snehad́ore viińára jhaḿkáre
Tomári udgiita madhu gáne
Tomára ráshi ráshi dyutibhará hási
Ásháhárá práńe áshá jágáy

Tomári choṋyá lágá kusuma suváse
Paráń ámár bhare jáy je ucchváse
Álápe áveshe náce o ulláse
Mana bhese jáy sudhádháráy

In Your cosmos, in Your mansion,
Days go by awaiting Thee.
On Your footfall, on Your recall,
Light shines at darkest night.

With Your colors and forms, incense and candles,
A speck of Your divine grace rains down.
With Your ties of love as lutes resound,
With Your sweet songs sung out loud,
With Your abundant radiant smiles,
In a forlorn life, hope is revived.

With the fragrance of flowers
Blessed with your holy touch
My life is filled with exuberant delight.
With joyous intoxication, eloquent discussion,
With rhythmic dance and overflowing heartfelt joy,
My mind drifts along on a flow of nectar.
