O lord,
Ever ready to receive Your holy feet,
to offer at your feet,
I've kept offerings arranged, oh my Deity.
I have kept decorated
Please gaze at me with eyes of kindness,
a tray of various colours.
Pardon sins and defects, remove ignorance.

Look at me compassionately,
Forsaking You, I've no one in these worlds three;{{#tag:ref|Typically, heaven, hell, and earth. But in a deeper philosophical sense, physical, mental, and spiritual (or crude, subtle, and causal).|group="nb"}}
pardon my faults and defects,
In both life and death, You are the associate of everybody.
and annihilate my ignorance.
Never kick me away, I've no other place to be–
Where can anybody go that's outside of Thee!

Other than you,
I seek no boon; I don't crave any esteem,
I have none in the three worlds.
Luster of gems and jewels, or some worldly vanity.
You are everyone's companion
Just keep me as footdust, look fondly and sweetly–
in both life and death.
Grant me capacity for doing Your deeds.

Do not kick me;
I have no shelter of my own,
Outside you, who exists?

I want neither boon nor respect,
nor do i take pride in gems and jewels.

Keep me by your foot-dust,
look at me with sweet affection,
and grant me capacity
to perform your work.
