Se priiti dey mane dolá
Se giiti kare ápana bholá
Se dyuti cetaná jágiye
Áloke dey bhare dhará

তোমারই প্রীতিতে গড়া
তোমারই গীতিতে ভরা
সে স্মৃতি আজও অমলিন
মরম উদ্বেল-করা

সে হাসি করে যে উন্মন
সে বাঁশী করে সম্মোহন
সে রাগে’ ভরে অনুরাগে
সে ডাকে হই আপনহারা

সে প্রীতি দেয় মনে দোলা
সে গীটি করে আপন-ভোলা
সে দ্যুতি চেতনা জাগিয়ে
আলোকে দেয় ভরে’ ধরা

Formed out of Your love
And filled with Your song...
Even now that thought is unflawed,
Stirring me to the core.

That smile so preoccupies,
And that flute does mesmerize
With its music love-suffused...
When it calls, consumed am I.

That love gives the mind a swing;
