O lord, in your proximity,
Upon the floral essence within Your proximity,
into the fragrance of flower,
Psyche goes a-sailing, repeatedly,
my mind goes on floating
Repeatedly.
again and again.
To forget Your compassion I cannot;
i can never forget your mercy;
Eyes crave Thee, Your perceiving.
the eyes want to see you.

on which past crimson morning,
On which ancient crimson morning
i came on your earth?
Had I come to the world of You only?
by your grace and feeling of love,
By Your grace with thoughts of amity,
i go on performing actions in this world.
In mundane life I go on working.
i am unable to live without thinking of you;

you are my spiritual endeavor
To remain unthinking of You I cannot;
and destination as well.
You alone are capability, You alone are [[sadhana]].
i do not know the past and future,
Past and future I know not;
you know all well.
Well You ken everything.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomári sakáshe kusumanirjáse
Man bhese jáy báre báre
Báre báre
Bhulite pári ná tomári karuńá
Áṋkhi tomáre cáy dekhiváre

Kon se atiite aruńa prabháte
Ámi esechinu tomári dharáte
Tomár krpáte priiti bhávanáte
Káj kare jái saḿsáre

Tomáre ná bheve thákite pári ná
Tumii sádhya tumii sádhaná
Atiita bhaviśyat ámi jáni ná
Tumi jáno sabi bhálo kare

Upon the floral essence within Your proximity,
Psyche goes a-sailing, repeatedly,
Repeatedly.
To forget Your compassion I cannot;
Eyes crave Thee, Your perceiving.

On which ancient crimson morning
Had I come to the world of You only?
By Your grace with thoughts of amity,
In mundane life I go on working.

To remain unthinking of You I cannot;
You alone are capability, You alone are sadhana.
Past and future I know not;
Well You ken everything.
