Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáy ghire chande sure
Jagat náce spandane
Práńer sudhá smita vasudhá
Dicche d́hele svanane

Nadiir niire upce paŕe
Tomár parash pábár tare
Tava gáne ságar páne
Dháy je tomári dhyáne

Vihagerá dhareche tán
Vijane kújane tava gán
Vibhor keká nayko eká
Náce tava nandane

Párijáter parágete
Bhrṋga máte manamadhute
Gunguniye jáy shuńiye
Tava karuńá varśańe

Mánav maner pápŕiguli
Madhur korak dicche khuli
Paŕche jhare carań pare
Práńer priiticandane

O lord,
the whole universe dances around you,
oscillating in your rhythm and melody.

You have poured life's nectar
into the smilingly resonating earth.

The water in the river overflows
to attain you.

With your song,
it rushes on towards the ocean
ideating on you only.

The birds have attuned themselves to your melody.
Your song resonates in both isolation and uproar.

And the peacock also does not remain alone;
it dances with joy, absorbed in you.

Due to the fragrance of pollen of the pa'rija't flower,
the honeybee has become intoxicated with mental honey.
It goes on humming,
listening to the rain of your mercy.
