Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi dhruva dhárańár sárathi
Tumi sárá jiivaner atithi
Ajáná pathik tumi práńera pratiik
Ke bá jáne tava kii riiti

Tava mamatár kathá bholá náhi jáy
Tomár karuńá bhará kánáy kánáy
Tumi ácha tái srśt́i áche
Tava drśt́ite vishvaekapriiti

Áloker utsa rayeche tomáte
Dośe guńe bhará ámi tomáte máte
Tomári dyuti tava bhávánubhúti
Dharáy ánuk alakágiiti

O lord,
You are my charioteer,
You are the guide on my path
towards the final desideratum,
towards the absolute.

You are the permanent guest.
You are the symbol of life.
Nobody knows your ways.

It is impossible to forget the affection that you showered.
In each particle your mercy was filled.
This creation exists because you exist.

His glimpses shower universal love.
The origin of light is lies in him.
The devoted, in spite of vices and virtues,
becomes engrossed in his thought.

With radiations and ideative feelings,
You brought onto this earth, a heavenly song.
