Táháre nikat́e ene

Áṋdháre tumii bháso
Áloke tumii háso
Dúre theke bhálabáso
Ekathá bujhiye dio

তুমি এসে' প্রিয়
সবারই মন রাঙিও
আলোকে স্নান করিয়ে
মুখেতে ভাষা যুগিও

ভেবে' অচেনা অজানা
যারে কাছে হয়নি টানা
তাহারে নিকটে এনে'
মনেরই ভ্রম ভাঙ্গিও

আঁধারে তুমিই ভাস
আলোকে তুমিই হাস
দূরে থেকে ভালবাস
একথা বুঝিয়ে দিও

Darling, You, having come,
Brighten mind of everyone.
After showering with light,
To the mouth combine diction.

Those deemed unfamiliar or unknown,
They were not drawn close.
Having brought them nearby,
Break our mental misconception.

Only You float in light's lack;
And in light You alone do laugh.
You hold dear, remaining distant;
Grant this fact's comprehension.
