O lord, you had come that morning smilingly
On which fine morning had You come,
under the illumination of rising sun.
Smiling under luster of a rising sun,
you came absorbed with floral fragrance,
Mixing floral pollen
and rhythmic resonant song.
With insistent-rhythmic song?
that day or date is not in the mind,

neither i want to churn memory for that.
The precise date of it is not in mind;
by that vibration and thrill of feeling,
Mem'ry to churn I don't desire.
even today tears flow from the eyes.
For with that same pulsation, thrill of ideation,
soft and harsh, you are great,
Even still upon eyelids the very day befalls.
your glory is brilliant.

by thinking of you, i forget shortages,
That Great Man are You, both mild and stern;
and remain in bliss day and night.
Resplendent is Your grandeur.
Contemplating You alone, I forget privation;
Night and day I remain in jubilation.

Tumi esechile kon suprabhate is the 2479th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi esechile kon suprabháte
Aruń áloke hásiyá
Kusum parág mákhiyá
Chandamukhar sauṋgiite

Vár tithi tár kichu mane nái
Smrti manthan karite ná cai
Sei spandane bháva shiharańe
Ájo vári jhare áṋkhipáte

Komale kat́hore tumi je mahán
Tomár mahimá dediipyamán
Tomákei bheve bhuli abháve
Ánande tháki dine ráte

On which fine morning had You come,
Smiling under luster of a rising sun,
Mixing floral pollen
With insistent-rhythmic song?

The precise date of it is not in mind;
Mem'ry to churn I don't desire.
For with that same pulsation, thrill of ideation,
Even still upon eyelids the very day befalls.

That Great Man are You, both mild and stern;
Resplendent is Your grandeur.
Contemplating You alone, I forget privation;
Night and day I remain in jubilation.
